Toby Wagstaff: Toby Wagstaff is a writer, editor, and script consultant whose work bridges storytelling, entertainment, and conversational AI. Originally from the UK, he earned first-class honors in Philosophy and Modern Languages (Italian) from the University of Oxford, spending a transformative year in Rome at Università degli Studi Roma Tre, where he studied cinema and art history. There, he directed The Importance of Being Earnest, volunteered as a teaching assistant, and developed a love for photography inspired by Rome’s light and architecture. After graduation, Toby entered London’s film industry, working in script analysis and production coordination at Studio 8 Productions and Peace Arch Films, later interning on the BBC’s Monarch of the Glen. His first significant on-set role came with Shadows in the Sun (2004), starring Harvey Keitel and Joshua Jackson, where he served as assistant to the producers and translator. Moving to the US, he became a Creative Executive at Fierce Entertainment, contributing to War (starring Jet Li and Jason Statham).
